Job Description: Reporting to a Therapies Department Manager, the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides a clinical role within  the Therapies Department and provides intervention and rehabilitation to adults and/or infants, toddlers and preschoolers at multiple sites in the health region.  As part of a team of therapists, the SLP completes speech, language, and swallowing assessments and treatments according to departmental procedure, best practices and established standards of practice, professional competency, and in accordance with the Mission Statement, Goals and Objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Leadership skills
Positive approach and good listening skills to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently to plan and organize work load demands

112 hours in a 3 week rotation.  Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purposes only and may be subject to change.  Successful applicant must have access to a personal vehicle, should one be required for work.
