Description

The Montreal Lake Cree Nation Education Department is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Academic Year to fill the Mathematics and Science High School Teacher position (grades 10  12) at the Senator Allan Bird Memorial School.
GENERAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Responsibilities associated with a classroom teacher.
General supervision of students/Extra-curricular participation.
Plan and deliver math and science classes to high school students at the 10, 20, and 30 levels materials that follow SK curriculum standards.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual needs of students.
Uphold STFs Code of Conduct, provide appropriate consequences and contact parents when required.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to teach students of varying abilities.

 - Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials
 - Develop course materials and curriculum content
 - Assign and correct homework
 - Advise students on course selection and on vocational and personal matters
