Description

Adecco is hiring for a Distribution System Integrity Engineer in Regina, Saskatchewan. To be considered, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Environmental Systems, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.  

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support by applying engineering principles in the investigation, analysis and resolution of integrity related problems.  Duties may include, but are not limited to:

-Plan leak survey requirements and manage leak survey data, which will include working with Operational staff and leak survey contractors;
-Statistical analysis of incidents to identify trends with regards to threat types, magnitude of consequences and incident frequency;
-Assist in the preparation of construction tenders, and annual service contracts;
-Development of annual replacement plans/programs based in risk evaluations; and
-Manage and report on assigned projects to ensure projects proceed safely and according to planned schedules and budgets.

In addition to the above, the candidate will:

-Lead and/or assist in the development of plans and business cases to optimize integrity management programs;
-Identify opportunities and provide advice for improvement within system integrity and associated line groups and for field processes; and
-Assess and make effective provisions for public and employee safety in accordance with legislated requirements.                 

Qualifications:

-Degree in Industrial or Environmental Systems, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
-Class 5 Driver's License
-0 - 5 years Engineering experience

Experience with the following software would be beneficial
- MS Excel,Word,SharePoint,ESRI GIS
