Description

The Product Manufacturing Analyst is responsible to develop and maintain routings and standard times for all manufactured products at Brandt and insure the standard costs of all manufacturing work centres is accurate.  This will require working with the Manufacturing Engineers, Cost Accounting, Design, Planning, and Purchasing. This position reports to the Director of Plant Design and Integration.

Job duties & Responsibilities:

Defining production routings that result in lowest fabrication cost while allowing production to meet the prescribed tolerances.
Apply standard times for the various manufacturing processes necessary to build a particular part or assembly.
Monitors the results of actual verse standard times noting and addressing instances where the standard time are not matching actuals.
Work with cost accounting to maintain accurate cost regarding each work center.
Participates in make/buy analyses.


Required Skills:
Excellent organization and team collaboration skills
Well-developed written, and verbal communication skills
In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes
Highly analytical, with a detail focus
Results orientated strong work ethic
General knowledge of production equipment found in a metal working facility
Ability to build rapport, establish credibility, and influence others to change.

Required Experience:

5 to 10 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with Item Master Definitions, developing Manufacturing BOMs & Routings, and processing Engineering Change Information.
Technical education with focus on manufacturing, manufacturing methods, and product design
Strong computer skills especially with excel
Familiar with at least one MRP/ERP program
