JUNIOR IT SUPPORT

LOCATION: REGINA, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province, and as an agent for Atlas Van Lines, we offer local and long distance moving services.

Responsibilities:
    Provide first level helpdesk support within a WAN environment utilizing remote connection support solutions for 11 locations
    Network and Computer System Administration - diagnose & solve problems, maintain security, recommend changes as needed
    Computer Support - answer user inquiries, remain technically up-to-date, develop training and support material and/or train users
    Procurement - Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers, order equipment
    Reporting and Administration - use SQL and Crystal Reports to create and maintain reports
    Maintain and configure EDI with interline customers
    Provide on call support during non-business hours
    Troubleshoot application issues

Qualifications:
    At least 1 year helpdesk related work experience and/or a technical certificate
    Macro writing experience an asset
    SQL experience required
    Works well with others under minimal supervision
    Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills a must
    Previous experience in the trucking/transportation industry an asset
    Previous experience using TruckMate application would be an asset
