Description

AGI Envirotank is a Saskatchewan company who is a leading manufacturer of above and below ground steel storage tanks for both shop built and field erected applications.  We are currently looking for a full-time Millwright Mechanic.

This person will be responsible for the general maintenance of shop equipment including forklifts, cranes, mobile cranes, production machinery, welders, cutting and shearing equipment, etc.

Duties
-Performing scheduled preventative maintenance, breakdown & repairs as required & making recommendations as to the extent of the repairs required & suggestions for improvements.
-Diagnosing & troubleshooting machine, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment issues in a timely safe manner
-Installing and relocating equipment
-Coordinating and working with various departments including the welding, warehouse, blasting and production teams to ensure equipment is running appropriately.
-Providing periodic support to building maintenance needs. (ex: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Preference of 3-5 years experience in similar position & work environment
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems independently
-General preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
-use the time available to organize and complete work with a given deadline
-Able to read schematic drawings to repair equipment
-Able to practice good housekeeping within all work areas
-Past experience working independently with minimal supervision
-Knowledge to work safely
-Strong command of the English language (read, write, speak.)
-Ability to work on higher elevations (ladders & lifts)

REQUIREMENTS:
-must have valid Drivers License with clean abstract
-must be willing to relocate
-must be a permanent Canadian resident
-must speak and read English fluently
