Description

The City of Swift Current invites applications for two non-permanent positions of Cashier / Clerk I, at the Aquatic Facilities in the Community Services Division. These positions are casual, primarily working evening and weekend hours.  

Under the direction of the Aquatic Superintendent, this employee will be responsible for duties related to clerical, cashier and locker room responsibilities.  

Basic Requirements:
. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, and familiarity with computers and windows based applications;
. Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public;
. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities; and
. Must provide a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check as we are a Youth Certified Employer.

Desirable Requirements:
. Clerical experience with processing payments.

The salary range is $17.61 to $19.04 per hour in accordance with the City of Swift Current/CUPE Local 183 Collective Agreement.
