Haztech currently has an opening for a qualified HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR to join our growing team. This job will be performed at Haztech's Head Office in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Haztech is one of industrys leading occupational and industrial health & safety organizations operating across Canada. We provide a full range of health & safety services such as on-site nurses and paramedics, physicians, health monitoring programs, pre-employment health screening, first responder emergency services, primary care, MEDEVAC, emergency response, wellness program services and return-to-work management.  


JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the CEO and VP, Operations, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. This position requires provision in the following functional areas: compensation, employee relations, performance management, staffing, and employment law compliance. The Human Resources Coordinator maintains a lead role in the development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Post Secondary education in Business Administration majoring in Human Resource Management (or related
  field) and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to analyze issues and exercise judgement and initiative when responding to requests.
- Willingness to provide operational support when needed
- Prior experience working in an HR role is an asset

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Ability to understand legislation and legal documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to consistent accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of HRM principles, practices, and processes and experience in researching better
  business practices
- Strong organization skills with the ability to to effectively prioritize tasks and handle high volumes
  of work.
