Manager of Outreach & Diversion Job Posting
Parent Aide Program is an in-home support program for families who are struggling to overcome barriers to their success.  We seek to support parents through client focused service and advocacy in order to reduce family breakup.  We are currently seeking a full time Manager of Outreach and Diversion.  This position is responsible for the daily management and program delivery of our voluntary Diversion program.   The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge in directly managing staff, family risk assessment, outcome measurement, data collection and program evaluation.  This position requires exceptional relationship, conflict resolution, problem solving and communication skills, and a proven ability in writing and reporting.  SSPC is looking for a candidate with a vision for program improvement and a commitment to anti-oppressive practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Social Work and Minimum of 2 years of direct management experience;
Frontline experience working with families
Knowledge of harm reduction philosophies
Knowledge of the TRC principles
Familiarity with legislation, programs and the Social Service Sector
Frontline experience working with families
Grant writing experience is an asset
Competency in computer skills/software (Experience with Case Management software an asset)

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client advocacy
Assign and monitor work with diversion families
Develop and oversee Parent Empowerment Contracts
Monitoring/Supervision of staff to ensure quality programing
Building community partnerships
