AIDS Saskatoon also known as the "601" is seeking someone interested in working as a Peer Support Worker for people living with HIV and people who use drugs.
This position is located in Prince Albert. You will be providing one-to-one support for people who are living with or at risk of HIV through providing information and support on safer drug use practices. This position will also work with the Education and Prevention Coordinator in the development of resources targeted to people living with HIV and people who use drugs in an effort to reduce risks associated with transmitting HIV and preventing overdoses. This position will also work with the Education Coordinator and the Executive Director to help deliver community education to reduce stigma and discrimination for people living with HIV and people who use drugs.
