Role
The Accounts Payable Associate ensures the timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable and related accounting functions.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable for timeliness and accuracy of entry and payment
Enter Accounts Payable and Project information in various databases
Work with Purchasing to investigate discrepancies between invoices and P.O.s
Reconcile open goods receipts in all databases
Prepare, send and code monthly corporate credit and fuel card reports
Perform accounting entries related to company credit and gas cards
Enter employee expense claims
Process vendor credit applications and set up new vendors
Perform all month-end responsibilities associated with Accounts Payable
Post all monthly and recurring journal entries and keep records for A/P accruals and Prepaids
Other supporting functions within the Accounting team as required

Requirements
At least 4 years experience in a related accounting role
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel
Experience with Microsoft AX, SAP Business One and Intuitive iERP would be an asset
Must be flexible and able to multi-task effectively
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Office setting, Monday through Friday, 8am  5pm; occasional overtime may be required
