JJ Trucking Ltd. is looking for an experienced dozer operator to start immediately. Valid tickets are an asset.
A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- GPS Experience
- Lease building and lease reclaiming,
- Ability to operate various pieces of equipment, including a dozer
- Must have experience running a GPS
- Understand and follow the direction from supervisors
- Able to understand grades and project layouts
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involved in ground disturbance
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
Transportation/Travel Information
- Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
- First Aid Certificate
- H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness Training)
Additional Skills
- Utilize GPS devices (Global Positioning Systems)
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Specific Skills
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Operate heavy equipment
- Operate computer controlled equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
