Riel Trail Homes is a real estate development company based just 8 minutes south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This is a full time position that is Monday Friday 8:30am-5pm, with potential for more hours. Employees must have their own transportation. Majority of work will be book keeping for 2 companies, Riel Trail Building Supplies and Riel Trail Homes.
Our ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated individual who is personable and analytical. We expect the candidate to gain enough knowledge about the construction industry to speak knowledgably with clients and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
In depth knowledge of QuickBooks;
Experience with Microsoft Office
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Experienced with data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice verification, progress billing, payroll, payroll liabilities, GST/PST remittance, bank reconciliations, and other general business administration
Daily Tasks:
Data entry and Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tracking
Prepare financial statements and accounting reports;
Plan, set-up and administer accounting systems;
Prepare financial information for individual employees, departments, and/or companies;
work with spruce pos system
work with Builder Trends software program
Answer calls and direct clients
General housekeeping duties of small office
Compensation will vary depending on the qualifications of the individual; pay will be adjusted accordingly for the right person who is willing to grow in the roll and take on additional responsibility.
