This position requires the installation, reconfiguration & dismantling of office furniture. Our company believes in hands on training and we will teach you the skills necessary to assemble and install a wide variety of office furniture systems as well as teach you how to repair chairs/hutches/desks/pedestals/etc
Essential Skills:
-MUST posses a valid driver's license
-you will be required to drive a cube van
-a driving record check will be mandatory
-must be hardworking
-you must be a team player/work well with others
-must have professionalism is customer service
-must have good decision making/problem solving skills
-have experience & ability to operate most hand and power tools
-have a willingness to travel (there will be out of town work)
Weight Handling:
-up to at least 45 kg(100lbs) or more
-must be physically fit
Work Conditions:
-there will be a lot of bending, crouching and kneeling
-good eye-hand coordination
-pay close attention to detail
-able to handle heavy loads (loading and unloading of furniture)
-repetitive tasks
-you will be working in a fast-paced environment
-load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with material handling equipment (dollies)
-wrap and unwrap goods & product
-MUST be able to work independently as well as part of a team
-must be able to follow direction
-MUST have steel-toes safety boots
