Victory Medical Associates is a busy, fast-paced medical clinic (Group Practice) consisting of 6 doctors (4 Specialists and 2 Family Physicians).
We are currently seeking an Office Manager to fill a full-time/part-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth running of the Clinic by supervising support staff, organizing time sheets, scheduling for working hours, holidays and sick time.
- Organize and document Office operations and procedures, ensure staff compliance with procedures
- Hiring new staff, arranging and conducting interviews
- Accept referrals to Specialists from other Clinics. Arrange initial appointments by phone or confirmation letter
- Order office supplies when required; accept invoices and arrange payments
- Address patients', Doctors', and Staff needs, questions and concerns
- Correspondence (supervise and collate incoming and outgoing mail)
- Office Maintenance: organize repairs, equipment maintenance, arrange for cleaning, shredding and medical waste disposal
- Billing for Doctors and record keeping using EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communicaton skills
- Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills, typing and word processing
- Applicants experienced with use of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) may be preferred, but not highly essential
- Confident, friendly, with professional attitude and a good team player
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Alternate Saturdays (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
