Cultural Advisor/Life Skills Coach
Part-Time, Term Position
Deadline for applications: Noon on July 27th, 2018
Location: Saskatoon, SK



SUMMARY:
GTNT is seeking applications for our Cultural Leader/Life Skills Coach position. This position will primarily support the planning and implementation of our cultural programming activity for the 2018/2019 season and our signature theatre training programs.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Coordinate cultural programming for Gordon Tootoosis Nknwin Theatre and the Circle of Voices  and Playhouse programs;
    
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised, but also able to work in a collaborative atmosphere with a professional, outgoing demeanor and be capable of managing multiple tasks in an artistic environment.

    First Nations, Metis or Inuit ancestry;
    Training and work experience with Indigenous people and culture;
    An awareness/understanding of Aboriginal language, culture and peoples in Saskatchewan.
    Previous experience working with Indigenous organizations is required;
    Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills;
    Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Check; and
    Valid Class 5 Drivers license required.
