Job Description: This role reports to the Board of Directors and also plays a key role as a member of 3sHealth's Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for an innovative leader experienced in providing Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management leadership and advice to achieve strategic and operational business objectives.

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

Providing independent and objective assurance and consulting services to the organization.

Working with leaders to develop, implement and maintain an effective Enterprise Risk Management program.

Participating in developing strategic direction and providing oversight to the organization.

Identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the operation.

Responding to external auditors' queries and the implementation of external auditor recommendations.

Overseeing staff who conduct operational, financial, information technology, and compliance audits.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.

Ten years' experience in accounting and auditing functions, including five years formal leadership experience.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred.

Professional accounting designations: Certified Professional Accountant   (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.

Professional auditing designations: Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are considered assets.

Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is considered an asset.
