Description

The Moose Jaw Housing Authority seeks a temporary full time Activity Worker to join our team.  If you are a forward-thinking, outgoing individual who is not afraid to work hard and have fun at work, please read on!

The Activity Worker works in our senior buildings with the various Tenant Associations and with tenants to deliver various events throughout the year.  They will co-ordinate, develop and deliver programs which are geared to enhance senior living.

The Activity Worker will make connections and develop relationships with community organizations and services that provide supports and resources to seniors in our community.  

Administrative work is a large part of this position.  Tasks range from keeping financial records, producing newsletters and presentations, correspondence, and statistical reporting to name a few.  

A strong desire to develop existing skills and learn new ones is absolutely essential to succeed in this position.  Excellent Microsoft Office skills are also an integral part of your day to day work.

A valid drivers license and a reliable personal vehicle are necessary for this position which also involves walking and climbing stairs as several of  our buildings are multilevel high rises with up to sixteen floors.  

Successful applicants are required to submit a clean criminal record check.
