Description

Accountabilities:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Create website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
Integrate data from various back-end services.
Build our portal website from concept all the way to completion.
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
Direct or performing website updates.
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.
Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
Develop or validate test routines to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
Maintain an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Qualifications:

Looking for someone with anywhere from 4-8 years experience as a Web Developer.
Proven working experience in web programming including:
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
Web server technologies such as ASP.NET and node.js.
RESTful APIs.
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
Adequate knowledge of database systems, Object Oriented Programming.
