Description

Accountabilities:

Research and determine which patches should be applied.
Manage contracts and expectations with vendors.
Maintain and plan appropriate system resources to ensure system performance.
Troubleshoot live database issues efficiently.
Enforce index policy.
Assess database integrity issues.
Conduct established security check protocol.
Consider and grant security access requests.
Review availability groups and assess for high availability.
Continually research disaster recovery technologies
Perform and plan SQL upgrades.
On call rotation required.
Escalation for team members with high priority issues.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with SQL Server.
Advanced T-SQL querying ability.
An educational background in computer science or software engineering is an asset.
Familiarity with software release cycles is an asset.
