Description

What will you do?

Key execution contact with the third party rail vendors and class one rail operations. Manages the order process for railcars for multiple loadout facilities at Mosaics Potash Plants and facilitate railcar placements to the individual plant sites.  Monitors third party serving yard inventories to ensure reconciled to internal records and resolves issues surrounding same.  Collaborates with planning and fleet management to facilitate fluid movement of product.
Leads the daily calls with the plants, third party rail vendors, domestic and international logistic coordinators and monitors the execution of transportation.  Additionally the logistics coordinator will maintain on going communication with the load out operations to maximize load out productivity.
To ensure alignment throughout the tactical horizon, manage and update required tracking, recording or other systems/paperwork as needed to meet internal and external requirements.
Using and updating the PLS load list and Excel applications, prepare and coordinate, correct, concise, accurate information to facilitate timely rail car billing by communicating the same to the Distribution Services Team.
The coordinator supports the placement of other plant related product such as treatment oils, starch, magnetite, etc.  Also initiates the communication of the repairs of bad order rail car equipment.
What do you need for this role?

Bachelors degree and 2 years of transportation/supply chain experience required
Business, Transportation, Marketing or Supply Chain discipline preferred
HS Diploma and 5 years of experience required in lieu of degree
APICS Certification preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience/knowledge of SAP preferred
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze information and make decisions accordingly
Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time appropriately
Excellent communications
