LMR Location of AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc, seeking a Lab Quality Technician/Safety Coordinator
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, confident individual with a deep knowledge of the Ag industry in Western Canada. This person will assist the buying group in ensuring that the Quality we are buying and shipping meets the quality standards that need to be met by our end users.
Responsibilities:
Quality control of all producer submitted samples, incoming shipments and outgoing products.
Enter grain receipts of incoming product.
Completing ROAs and Phyto samples.
Control MIs for loading and shipping product.
Organize shipping instructions.
Daily quality checks on lab equipment, recording data and equipment calibration as required.
Track, document and organize safety training for LMR staff (monthly safety training, toolbox meetings).
Travel to sites to unload trucks, load cars etc.
Other duties assigned or as needed.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
Positive attitude.
Ability to work and travel to LMR locations.
Ability to work outside in adverse conditions.
Must be able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
Must be able to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays.
Must be familiar with MS Office including Word and Excel.
