Seniors Condo Living
Assist in kitchen with meal preparation and kitchen cleaning duties, along with washing dishes.
This is a casual position that includes, days, evenings and weekends that could lead into full time.
This position is suitable for a student.
Dishwashing Skills
- Scour pots and pans
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Operate pot-washing machines
- Clean and polish silverware
- Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware
Transportation/Travel Information
- Own transportation
Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills
- Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
Security and Safety
- Bondable
Kitchen Helping Skills
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- Handle and store cleaning products
- Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
Bussing Skills
- Set tables
- Replace linen
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Assist food and beverage servers in formal service activities
Weight Handling
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
