Job Purpose: To welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors.
Responsibilities:
Serving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answering of the telephone and forwarding incoming phone calls
Receiving and sorting daily mail, deliveries, couriers
Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, etc
General Operations Assistance including but not limited to; Log Book Administration, IFTA Fuel Administration, Job Files, Equipment Work Orders
Other office related duties as required
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant
Ability to efficiently distribute information to proper departments, divisions, persons
In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations
Excellent organizational skills
Strong Computer skills
Excellent verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills
The Administrative Assistant/Reception position is based in our operations office located in Carlyle, SK. Due to the nature of the business 24 hour a day operations, the position may be requested to work outside of regular business hours. In general, the position will be based on a 40 hour work week.
