With over 50 years of experience and reliability, Standard Machine is a custom job shop with in-house capabilities for complete power transmissions projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Capable of measuring parts using inside and outside mics up to 60 inches,
*Familiarity with concepts of gear manufacturing will be considered an asset,
*Systematic trouble shooting skills,
*The ability to adapt to variety of process control situations as required.
Personal Aptitudes:
*Capability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment,
*Excellent communication skills, both oral and written,
*Proven ability to organize and facilitate multiple projects in an accurate timely manner,
*Team based history of exceeding goals.
The Job:
*Pre-sequence inspection of all material and parts,in-process inspections and post process inspections according to ISO standards.
*Efficient setup, programming and operation of CNC lathes based on complex engineered drawings,
Shift work may be required. All hours worked on a schedule beginning after 3:30 PM are paid a $4 per hour shift differential.
Competencies Required:
*Excellent English (verbal and written) communication skills.
*Qualified candidates will be a Journey person Machinist or have equivalent experience (minimum of 6 years machining experience).
Applicants must provide proof of all relevant qualifications and be available to participate in a pre-employment testing
procedure.
