Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of housekeeping staff,
management of staff schedules as well as inspection of hotel rooms to insure cleanliness standards.
The supervisor will coordinate which rooms and in what order need cleaning.
Responsibilities
Supervise and co-ordinate the work of hotel housekeepers and cleaning staff.
Inspect hotel rooms to ensure brand cleanliness standards are met.
Responsible for recruitment and training of staff and setting schedules.
Responsible for notifying and advising maintenance for repairs to housekeeping equipment.
Manage cleaning supply inventory.
Liaise with other teams within the organization as well as externally.
Qualifications
Experience with housekeeping, management and/or related occupations.
Excellent understanding of MS Office and other relevant computer software.
Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations.
Outstanding eye for detail.
