Description

The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings,facility,grounds and equipment.Performs related duties as assigned.Ensures care home is with compliance with the required standards and building codes for repairs.This ensures the safety of Residents,Employees and Visitors. A person working as maintenance has to be reliable and punctual in attending work. Confidentiality, follow policy and procedures that are established by Lakeview Lodge Personal Care Home. Maintenance must maintain professionalism in dress and attitude
Specific Duties:
1.Day to day maintenance and repairs to the facility,grounds and equipment
2.carpentry, electric,Plumbing,painting and snow removal
3.repairs and treats structures such as flooring,showers,sinks,toilets,grease traps
4.Repairs locks,doors,cabinets,desks,closets,door hinges,ect...
5.Maintenance of water softener and water heater
6.Monitor sewer tanks to ensure that all four tanks are emptied on a daily basis
7.assist employees with heavy lifting
8.Order and pick maintenance supplies
9.Responsible for machinery,equipment and infrastructor
10.Notify appropriate Vendors to repair machines,pipes,equipment...
11. Monitor and host monthly fire emergency drills as outlined in the Personal Care Homes licensees'Handbook.
12.Monitor Fire Extinguishers are inspected and refilled
13.replace batteries and check Carbon monoxide detectors
14.Keep Records or a daily log of Repairs and maintenace
15. follow Code of ethics
