Description

Position Description
The House Technician is primarily responsible for the ongoing delivery of production services and technical programming for each client in realizing the vision of their event, design, or production. In addition, the House Technician will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the stage, back of house, and equipment.

The House Technician will work with and report directly to the Building Manager in order to see every production/event through to completion in an efficient and timely manner.
  
Specic Responsibilities
Provide technical services as required by each production, including but not limited to electrical, lighting, sound, and video.
Assist with the procurement of materials and additional equipment as needed
Run each show in conjunction with the client.

Qualications:
Technical theatre background and education an asset.
Excellent attention to detail, and problem solving skills
Ability to self motivate and work unsupervised.
Customer service experience an asset.
Broad range of skills related to the building and execution of theatre productions.
ETC Express consoles an asset.

Remuneration:
This is a contract position and the remuneration will be dependent on the successful applicant's education and experience.
