Quickthree Technology LLC, (div of Smart Sand, Inc.), is expanding our Saskatoon Manufacturing team and have immediate openings for:
Welders
This position uses various welding processes in our manufacturing plant for production welding various metals and fabricates various components.
Primary Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications
Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
Operates manual flame-cutting equipment
Operates metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal forming equipment
Complete process paperwork and checklists
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Completion of a pre-employment welding course
Ability to interpret and read blueprints and welding specifications
Previous welding experience, min 2 years preferred
Current or previous CWB certification preferred
