-Greet Customers, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
-Take food and drinks orders from customers accurately and enter orders into computer for transmittal to Kitchen and Lounge Staff
-Serve Food and Beverages
-Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards.

-Excellent Customers Skills
-Able to work in a team environment
-A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with cooks and other staff
-Able to handle money accurately
-Must be familiar with a point-of-sale system (training will be provided)
-Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills

- Own transportation
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
- Set tables
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
