At The Saskatoon Colostrum Company we pride ourselves in being the only manufacturer of all natural Bovine Dried Colostrum in Canada, with exports around the world.
As a processing technician the duties that you will perform include, but are not limited to:
-processing frozen colostrum into powder
-packaging colostrum powder
-core sampling frozen colostrum
-loading and unloading trucks
-handling full 4 gal pails
-forklift operation
-maintaining general warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Shift work
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Valid Saskatchewan drivers license
- Good literacy and communication skills
- Forklift experience and certification an asset
- Manufacturing and/or food production experience an asset
The successful applicant must be able to lift 20kg (45lb) repetitively. Our manufacturing facility is regulated and inspected by the CFIA, so policies and procedures are a big part of the day to day operations in the plant. For the right candidate there is possibility for advancement.
