Position Overview:
As part of the Systems Department, this position is responsible for:
~ Developing and maintaining expertise with the banking and related system and providing problem resolution by working with the banking system provider.
~ Providing training, information and support regarding the banking and related systems to the staff and providing MemberDirect support to the membership.
~ Recommending improvements in functionality and workflow efficiencies pertaining to the banking systems or to policies, procedures, regulations and environment.
~ Coordinating the planning for enhancements with completion on-time, on-strategy and budget.
~ Coordinating the implementation of all banking and related systems development and enhancements, including testing, procedure development and staff training.
~ Assessing business and application requirements, design specification development, change management and system configuration.
~ Participating in the exploration and advancement of new products/processes and opportunities.
Qualifications:
~ Two year post-secondary education combined with a minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in an Automated Banking Environment. Relevant years of experience as well as industry knowledge will be considered in lieu of formal education.
~ Extensive knowledge in Banking Systems and general product knowledge of Financial Services products.
~ A strong communicator with the ability to interact with members, staff, suppliers and external organizations in a positive and sincere manner.
