Primary Responsibilities:
CanMar Farms formally HCI Farms Indian Head Ltd. is looking for a Seasonal Full Time Semi Truck Operator to help with harvest that covers over 17,000 acres of land near Indian Head, Saskatchewan.
Reports to:
Farm Foreman
Job Duties:
Operation of semi truck with tridem trailers.
Regular maintenance of all farm equipment.
Day to day duties typical to that of a grain farm at harvest.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Works safely, adhering to safe farm practices when handling tools and operating equipment
Reliable
Ability to work both as a team player and independently
Active listener
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required
Must have previous agricultural experience
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license (Class 1A license preferred)
Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner
Extended hours may be required during peak farming seasons

Hours/Wage:
Hours for this position are consistent with that of full time employment, with the possibility of additional working hours being required during the harvest season. The wage for this position is $22-24/hr. depending on experience.
