The City of Humboldt Department of Cultural Services invites applications for a full-time permanent Cultural Programmer position. The position is based at the Museum and Gallery, which are open year round, and includes programming for the municipal public art program as well as the Original Humboldt site and Water Tower as seasonal attractions.
You are a creative thinker who enjoys developing new mechanisms for audience engagement. You appreciate a wide range of work areas including art, archaeology, historic sites and heritage to develop public and education programs. Your role on the team includes the development of creative new exhibits to share the stories of Humboldt. You are a strong communicator who excels at building long-term relationships with volunteers and fostering community partnerships.
