Description

We are looking for an Installation Specialist to be located in Estevan or Weyburn, SK. The role of the Installation Specialist is to install, configure and support network equipment required to supply end customers data connections.  This position will be responsible for technical support issues, software and hardware implementation, network operation, and day-to-day management of network infrastructure. The role will report to the Manager Operations and work with all members of the KRAKR Network Team.

Key Responsibilities Include
Ability to work alone or within a supervised enviroment. Including but not limited to: confined spaces, working at heights, and with low voltage wiring.
System support including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of various physical equipment. This includes support of the systems software and hardware.

Minimum Knowledge
The ideal candidate will possess:
Excellent understanding of local building codes, low voltage wiring applications and basic grounding knowledge.
Solid understanding and working knowledge of Cisco and/or Mikrotik firewalls, Cambium Radio Products, Ubiquiti Network hardware and software including Radios, Firewalls, Switches, UNMS, Unifi, and Cloud Hosted Products.
Background in the following technologies will be an asset: Networking and Radio Fundementals, Microsoft Office 365, AWS Web Hosting Solutions.
1 years of IT experience in an installation related service.
Minimum of 1 years experience in the operation of LAN and WAN environment.
Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
