Description

Under the supervision of the Executive Director and the Director of Programs, the Program Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination and implementation of appropriate programs for children and youth as required in keeping with the core values of Boys and Girls Club of Canada as well as focusing on key issues and priorities of our community.

The Program Supervisors duties and responsibilities include(but are not limited to):
-Ensure that the Battlefords Boys & Girls Club provides a safe and caring environment that promotes positive child and youth development, relationships and mentoring opportunities for children and youth.
-To assist and support the Director of Programs in overall program development, implementation and evaluation, including daily program preparation, program summaries and facility maintenance, as required.
-Supervision of staff, volunteers and program participants as well as the overall implementation of programs for children 6-14 years of age.
-Assist in the recruitment of program participants, members and volunteers.
-Assist the Director of Programs in the maintenance of information for the effective operation of programs and reporting requirements, including statistical data, financial information, membership documentation and report preparation as required.
-Ensure program facilities and grounds are well maintained and clean at the completion of each program and at days end, including securing (locking) of building and facilities.


Qualifications:
-Proven leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
-Current certification in Standard First Aid/CPR
-Valid class five drivers license
-Must be bondable with willingness to complete a RCMP Criminal Record Check
