Competencies:
(1) Ability to learn and apply rules and procedures of IEIS, Autofund, CAD and Justice systems, Court documents, legal terminology, Canadian Centre for Justice Statistics incident based reporting rules, routing requirements and assignment procedures, Criminal Code, Provincial Statutes, Municipal bylaws, Highway Traffic Act, etc., and departmental policy with respect to police operations and procedure as it pertains to processing various types of incident reports.
(2) Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent and fully competent in the use of the English language.
(3) Minimum education of a certificate or diploma in Office Education from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
(4) A demonstrated ability to successfully deliver training to other individuals OR related post secondary education.
(5) Efficient typist (minimum 50 wpm), word processing and computer knowledge with minimum one year experience in an office environment.
(6) Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with persons in efficient and professional manner.
(7) Ability to work in a team environment.
(8) Ability to organize and prioritize work to respond to high demand and high degree of accuracy.
(9) Ability to analyze a situation based on policy and standards and make a decision accordingly.
