Prairie Co-operative Limited operates 12 locations in the communities of Melville (3), Lemberg, Fort QuAppelle (2), Lipton, Cupar, Strasbourg, Ituna, and Kelliher (2). Our mission is to provide quality products and service in a sustainable manner to all our members and communities.

Prairie Co-op is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Lipton Store team!

RESPONSIBILITIES    
- Prepare, administer and be responsible for the sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPMH of the Lipton Branch.
- Ensure all staff adheres to merchandising standards, marketing efforts, staff appearance, housekeeping and loss prevention.
- Ensure acceptable level of service is provided, staff attitude is appropriate and Hassle-Free Guarantee Program is followed.
- Ensure proper management of assets and adherence to a maintenance schedule.
- Ensure adherence to the image checklist as per facilities and equipment.
- Prepare annual budget and ensure claims, invoices and all other paper work is done timely, accurately and meets policy and procedure.
- Ensure the proper recruitment procedures are followed.
- Implement and enforce written performance expectations and standards.
- Be responsible for developing a yearly staff training plan and ensuring that it is followed.
- Hold regular staff meetings and to ensure all staff receives bi-annual reviews.
- Be responsible for the adherence and enforcement of Prairie Co-op policies and procedures.

The ideal applicant must have strong communication skills, ability to lead and motivate team members and excel in Performance Management. They should have the ability to delegate and organize team members. The successful candidate must ensure their values align with ours: excellence, integrity and progressive.
