Description

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Fleet Services, is seeking Supervisor Journeyperson Mechanic or Welder for the North Battleford Repair Depot.  Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, you will provide customer repair services for Fleet Service clients as well as for Fleet Services, including supervising and assisting the mechanics, working closely with the District Operations Managers, crew supervisors, operators and field mechanics, and performing mechanical and welding repairs to all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment with services performed in the shop and field.  You will plan work schedules and provide coordination with stores to ensure parts are available.  You will be required to complete work orders, opening and/or closing them.  The successful candidate will also ensure work order bills and work descriptions are accurate in order to create a useful unit repair history.
