1080Architecture, Planning and Interiors is a mid-size architectural practice in Regina, SK.  Recognised for excellence in pre-design planning, design and project execution, 1080 is passionate about our work, our people and our community.

We are currently seeking an interior designer looking to join our dynamic, growing firm. You are someone who shares our belief in team collaboration, takes pride in design excellence, has excellent communication skills and hold a desire to fulfill your career; achieving both personal and project responsibility through advancement.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to register with the IDAS and possess a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite as well as demonstrated experience in design implementation.

Qualifications include:
Bachelors degree in Interior design or
  Architecture
Minimum 5+ years of commercial interiors
focused project experience
Strong background in commercial projects
Ability to work independently and manage
multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
Positive attitude accompanied with a strong work ethic
Self-starter & well organized
Strong technical skills
Proficient in Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft suite
Excellent communication

Duties include:
Lead projects from design development through to contract administration
Lead client meetings; identify clients' needs, scope, timeline and overall project budget
Perform or coordinate space planning studies: programming documents, area calculations, code review
Conduct or coordinate: surveys and furniture/equipment inventories, site supervision
Develop creative, innovate concepts with other team members
Prepare or oversee construction drawings and specifications
Research or coordinate furniture presentations, specifications, tender documents, and installations
