Description

Adecco is recruiting for an Assistant Controller to work on a 9-month contract in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting the Controller with the management of overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will be professional, enthusiastic, and positive.

Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

- Assist the Controller to ensure systems, internal controls and procedures are consistently being adhered to and applied in all areas of the accounting scope
- Provide and propose system improvements; internal control and training and development of programs to Controller
- Analysis, budgeting, forecasting and preparing financial reports monthly and for Year End
- Managing accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing financial statements and reporting to top management and externally


Assistant Controller Qualifications:

- 3 years of experience in a similar/equivalent role
- Proven ability in department leadership and developing programs, internal controls and training, coaching and developing a team of accounting techs
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain focused with a strong eye for detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team situation
