Description

1080Architecture, Planning and Interiors is a mid-size architectural practice in Regina; recently formed through the merger of CITE360studio and pmgm architecture. Recognised for excellence in pre-design planning, design and project execution, 1080 is passionate about our work, our people and our community.
We are currently seeking an architect or intern architect looking to join our dynamic, growing firm. You are someone who shares our belief in team collaboration, takes pride in design excellence, has excellent communication skills and hold a desire to fulfill your career; achieving both personal and project responsibility through advancement.
The ideal candidate is or will have the ability to register with the SAA and possess a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.as well as demonstrated experience

Qualifications include:
5+ years of professional work experience in large-scale commercial, mixed use, residential and institutional projects
Strong knowledge of building technology, construction techniques, related engineering principles, sustainability strategies, building codes, city specialized zoning requirements and assembly of construction drawing sets.
Positive attitude accompanied with a strong work ethic
Self-starter & well organized
Strong technical skills
Extensive drawing documentation experience
Excellent communication
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Working knowledge of SketchUp
Duties include:
Lead projects from design development through to contract administration
Oversee, direct and review the work of junior and/or intermediate staff
Correspond with clients and consultants
Work in close collaboration with the partners
