A Middle Years Programmer is responsible for the implementation and delivery of a variety of recreational after-school and evening programs for children and youth ages 5 to 12. Shifts vary Mondays through Fridays between 3:15 pm and 7:45 pm.
Duties:
Supervise, lead and participate in all program activities;
Keep organized records, including statistics and daily evaluations;
Be a positive, respectful and responsible role model;
Report directly to the Coordinator of Programs;
Qualifications:
- Experience working with youth is required
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must provide and maintain a clear Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
