Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Rail. This position will be responsible for maximizing the sales of Brandt Rail equipment and services to the Rail industry customers (railways, contractors, transits, industrial users etc.) concentrating on maximizing sales volume and gross profit dollars.


Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Rail. This position will be responsible for maximizing the sales of Brandt Rail equipment and services to the Rail industry customers (railways, contractors, transits, industrial users etc.) concentrating on maximizing sales volume and gross profit dollars.



Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the Sales of Rail Equipment and services to the customers .
Manage a team of sales personnel to establish strong relationships with Rail customers with the main focus of maximizing sales and margin
Working with the VP of Sales Direct Channel to develop an action plan to become the leader in the Rail industry for Maintenance of Way Rail equipment (1 year, 3 year, 5 year plan).
Establish strong relationships/partnerships with key customers.
Assist and manage Sales team in creating strong relationships and partnerships with key customers
Manage scheduled sales meetings with Team to keep them focused on the key opportunities
Manage sales reporting activities in regular sales meetings
Work with Brandts engineering team, estimating team, and Project Managers to provide Rail equipment solutions to our customers.
Identify and evaluate new Markets/Products and establish Brandt in the profitable ones.
Work with Marketing team to promote and aid in product and brand awareness with the Rail Customers.
65% travel is required.

Required Experience:

5 years of Sales management and industry experience
comprehensive knowledge of the rail industry
strong customer service skills
ability to build relationships and leave a sales team within North America
