Team Power Solutions is a rapidly growing engineering, technical services and manufacturing company which provides electrical and instrumentation project expertise for major governmental, commercial and industrial clients.  

Team Power Solutions is currently seeking a Junior Engineer as part of our engineering team.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Supervisor and will be expected to contribute a high level of leadership, experience, energy & uncompromising attention to Quality & Innovation within all aspects of their work.

The Junior Engineer main duties include:
    Assistance in power system studies
    Assistance in electrical design and consulting
    Assistance in manufacturing electrical design
    Field work as required

The Junior Engineer is responsible for:
    Rigorous attention to client requirements, project scope, technical standards & accuracy
    Reviewing of technical literature & procedures
    Preparing detailed specifications
    Estimating design effort & project capital costs
    Coordinating effort from various contributors for design completion
    Ensuring all company procedures are followed within an ISO 9001:2008 environment
    Site inspections & technical assistance when required
    Actively recommending opportunities to improve designs, products & internal processes

Our Ideal Candidate will have:
    Uncompromising expectations for Quality & Innovation
    1-5 years of experience in heavy industry (preferably mining or O&G)
    Familiar with various computer software such as: Power system modeling & analysis software (SKM and ETAP)
    Drafting software
