Westcon Equipment & Rentals Ltd. requires a new Payroll and Accounting Administrator to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, perform various accounting and clerical tasks such as data management, keeping employee information relevant for payroll purposes and accounting classifications up-to-date, as well as providing various types of accounting analysis and general account reconciliations related both to staff costs and for general finance department reporting purposes. The Payroll & Accounting Administrator will work as a member of the accounting team and provide support to other roles within the department as required. Integrity and strong attention to detail are crucial for this role, as well as strong customer service and interpersonal skills, as communication and client inquiry assistance will be a key component within this position. Particular preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience using 3rd party software interfaces, such as ADP, Ceridian, or other similar payroll processing providers.

Job Duties
Ensure accuracy and completeness in payroll data compilations and submissions.
Ensure timely and accurate updates and maintenance to local payroll and related databases occurs and that effective control systems are in place for reconciliation purposes.
Tracking and reporting of: vacation information, expense report data, and group benefit premium computations.
Assist in ensuring that payroll and related data is compiled and reviewed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Participate with and support finance department personnel in analysis pertaining to budgets, forecasts, fiscal month end accounting entries, and audit requirements.
