Reporting to the HR & Technology Director; this position supports and implements HR practices which contribute to meeting HR outcomes of BRT6HC. The position provides complex and confidential administrative and analytical support and assistance to the entire HR team; ensuring compliance with Human Resource Practices and administrative and regulatory reporting requirements.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
* Support BRT6HC recruitment process following organizational recruitment strategy.
* Maintains tracking of HR and organizational measurements that support the accomplishment of BRT6HC strategic goals.
* Prepares reports; compile and analyze data for actionable information and management decisions.
* Maintenance and security of personnel records by maintaining paper, computer and document imaging of personnel records and files in accordance with guidelines set by Revenue Canada; ensuring confidentiality of employee files by following security procedures.
* Answer general benefits/compensation HR policy and practices questions and refer to appropriate area when required
*Administer, coordinate and plan years of service recognition program
Qualifications Requirements:
* Completion of Human Resources or Office Admin Diploma; 3 to 4 years job related experience
* Demonstrated advanced Proficiency in Excel including basic and advanced functions and data manipulation
* Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints; highly organized, attention to detail and meeting deadlines
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
