Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association is seeking an Executive Director who can build the SRPA's mission to develop, maintain and promote a strong association of regional parks.
The Executive Director is the SRPA's chief staff officer, leading the strategic mission and vision of the organization. The Executive Director will lead the association's planning and engagement to meet the needs of its funding partners, and support the Board of Directors. The Executive Director collaborates closely with municipal and provincial governments.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
-A university degree, professional designation, or the equivalent in a related field
-7-10 years in a senior leadership role. Experience with non-profit organizations is an asset
-An understanding of and commitment to the goals of the Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association
-Ability to create and maintain a balanced budget, and understand financial statements
-Firm understanding of municipal and provincial government relations
-Understanding of board governance. Understanding of John Carver's Governance Model is an asset
-Strong understanding of, and experience in writing and completing funding applications and follow-up reports
-Knowledge of payroll and financial principals and practices. Experience with QuickBooks Pro is an asset

-Ability to build and maintain relationships with Association partners
