Description

Join a progressive team as Red Seal Journeyman Service Technician in the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of products, parts and accessories ranging from electrical to mechanical, plumbing, cabinetry, doors & windows etc.  

As Service Technician, you will:  
- Provide technical service on customer products, vehicle and household parts/accessories.  This includes:
- Assessing, troubleshooting and identifying repair and maintenance needs.    
- Installing, repairing, replacing and maintaining components such as windows, doors, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets/counter tops, plumbing, electrical wiring, etc.  
- Use of computerized and electronic devices for testing.

- Perform inspections on new deliveries, complete and submit checklist/documentation.    

- Read and document repairs, and complete related insurance and warranty forms.  Ensure parts are in inventory or have been ordered.  

- Collaborate with other members of the technical, service and support team to ensure accurate documentation, information and customer service needs are met.

Education
- Journeyperson status is required, along with knowledge of servicing mechanical systems, electrical wiring and related household products.

Experience
- Related maintenance and repair experience in an electrical, mechanical and/or other capacity.
- An equivalent of education and experience will be considered.

Desired attributes:
- Mechanical aptitude, and the ability to identify/resolve a variety of mechanical-related issues.
- Customer service focused, with a willingness to learn and takes pride in his/her work.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to follow direction accurately.

Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00a.m.  5:00p.m.
