Bachelor Degree in Nutrition
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board (CDECB) certification
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Assessment skills

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Employer would be willing to consider an individual who would be prepared to get the CDECB certification within a two year timeframe. Some travel will be required. This position will work primarily in the areas of outpatient counselling. Coverage could also include long-term care and acute care counselling where required.

This is a designated field hours position.

Hours of Work: 67.00 hours per 3 week rotation
